Getting InvolvedWe mention this from time to time, but we really need help. Yes, that kind, too, but I mean your help. We have a ton of fun creating audio drama and we’re ready to expand our audience. In order to do that, we need people who want to have fun creating audio drama, too! Specifically we need people who can help with Foley sound effects, technical setups, marketing, production, production assistants, and fundraising. And acting. Some of our techies started out as actors and found they really enjoyed the technical side of things. Now…we have pretty good ears and we can hear you saying now "I don’t know how to do any of that stuff." And that’s ok, because until we started actually doing it, neither did we. Seriously, most of us learned (and are learning) about the craft of audio drama by the seat of our pants and with the help of seasoned professionals and keep getting better through experience and practice. Don’t live near the Atlanta area? No worries. Thanks to the magic of the Internet there’s still stuff you can do to help. So put down that excuse and contact us about starting the next exciting thing in your life. There’s no commitment, but there’s also no pay…people come and go as their schedules allow, and we think that once you stop by the first time you’ll be hooked. You’ll be glad you did. And we will, too. Studio RecordingsWe’re deep into studio territory having laid down tracks for bits and pieces of several of the scripts on our slate for this season. Mass editing will commence shortly! And don’t forget our already extensive catalog! Live PerformancesWe aren’t resting on our laurels in live-performanceland. Coming soon, our exciting announcement for public performances in the 2010-2011 season at the Academy Theatre. Next up: Handy reference link for the ARTC performance calendar.
