Greetings everyone and welcome to the ARTC newsletter, published on or around the first Tuesday of each month!  The purpose of a newsletter is to bring news, so let’s begin with news about…

Hey, sorry the newsletter is late. Dragon*Con ate my soul and had my time for dessert. Better late than never!

Additionally in December, watch for the Academy Theatre’s own seasonal production. Details are yet to be finalized, but ARTC will be involved!

The Planetoid of Doom: Rory and Skip, with the help of a robotic deputy, must stop an asteroid miner who wants to cut out the “mining” step of getting his ore to Earth — by nudging the whole asteroid towards Earth with a hydrogen bomb!
The Lance of Justice: Rory and Skip are assigned by the Second Assistant Undersecretary for Public Affairs, Extraterrestrial Division, to act as technical advisers for a new TV show: “Lance Thruster, Rocket Ranger!”

ARTC Podcast:
The ARTC podcast for August featured, fresh from our LibertyCon show, Our Fair City by Robert. A. Heinlein, adapted for audio by Thomas E. Fuller and Brad Strickland. We had intended to repeat this performance at Dragon*Con. Our time slot did not allow us to fit this one in, so we bring you the podcast instead! September brings you the second part. October…will be a surprise.

Tune in on the second Thursday of each month at 8pm for more free audio drama from ARTC!
