Breaking Radio Silence - The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company Newsletter
Greetings everyone and welcome to the ARTC newsletter, published on or around the first Tuesday of each month! The purpose of a newsletter is to bring news, so let’s begin with news about…

All this and more with musical guests Alton Leonard and Juliana Finch!

Getting Involved:
Not on Facebook? Or, have another blog you’d rather plug us on? We’ve made it easy for you!
First, we’ve created a handy web-friendly poster for you!
The thumbnail goes to the midsize version (direct link here) and if you click on the midsize version you can get to the full size, suitable for printing! All this courtesy of the ARTC Gallery, so feel free to hotlink unless you’re especially high-traffic, and then we’ll ask you to rehost, but use your judgment.
Second, if you’re short on copy, feel free to use any of the material in this newsletter or from this posting on LiveJournal!
Studio Productions:
The sound effects library we mentioned in the previous newsletter is already helping streamline the production process. Look for new product soon!
In the meantime, don’t forget our already extensive catalog!
Think CDs are old hat? ARTC is available by download at Audible.com, iTunes, and Amazon!
ARTC Podcast:
The ARTC podcast for February featured two episodes of our long-running series Bumpers Crossroads! The Developer and The Traffic Light. Next up in March, we’ll bring you another installment from Mildly Exciting Tales of Astonishment: Baby Boom - HEY! That looks familiar! Yes, it’ll be the performance from the 25th Anniversary show I mentioned above, so come on out and be a part of podcasting magic! Tune in on the second Thursday of each month at 8pm for more free audio drama from ARTC!
Snippets from the Static:
Anyone who has ever heard our classic piece Most Pierced Man will get a shiver out of this story.
Similarly, this reminds us of our adapatation of Robert A. Heinlein’s All You Zombies…
And, lastly, we present this archive from the podcast to go with this story. Life imitating art? Just one more step, we think.
Haven’t heard Most Pierced Man or All You Zombies… ? Want to? Let us know and we’ll add them to the list of upcoming podcasts!
Off-dial Programming:
ARTC has had dozens, if not hundreds, of members in its run since 1984, and they don’t just do radio drama. Look for these ARTC members in performances around the Atlanta area!
Former ARTC President Geoffrey M. Brown in his new production company, Dancing Monkey Cabaret!
Got something for Snippets from the Static or Off-dial Programming? Broadcast it this way!
As always:
