Breaking Radio Silence - The Atlanta Radio Theatre Company Newsletter
Greetings everyone and welcome to the ARTC newsletter! The purpose of a newsletter is to bring news, so let’s begin with news about…
Holiday gift-giving:
We hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. As we all gear up for the holiday season, we’d like to remind you to give the gift of imagination with the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company. CDs are available by mail order at artc.org or you can download from Audible.com, iTunes, and now Amazon!
But that’s not all! Planning to give something that we don’t sell? You can support ARTC without costing yourself any extra money by visiting artc.org first and using us as your portal to Amazon.
Live Performances:
ARTC’s next live performances will be Saturday, December 6 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 7 at 2:30 pm. We will perform our annual presentation of An Atlanta Christmas conceived by Thomas E. Fuller and written by the various authors of the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company. This performance, one of our perennial favorites, has been performed at venues as diverse as high schools, Eddie’s Attic, and even a hair salon! Come celebrate the Magic of Christmas with the Magic of Radio and this charming story of the season as seen through Southern eyes.
An Atlanta Christmas

Studio Productions:
Studio productions are tricky beasts. You think you’re about done with one and suddenly Real Life intervenes and you’re set back quite a bit. Suffice to say that for the upcoming 25th Anniversary year of ARTC we have the potential to release several new CDs including Throne of Shadows by Thomas E. Fuller, An Atlanta Christmas by Thomas E. Fuller, as well as All You Zombies…by Robert A. Heinlein if all goes according to plan. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, don’t forget our already extensive catalog! Original audio drama makes a great gift this holiday season.
ARTC Podcast:
The ARTC podcast this month features a two-fer! Nothing-at-All by Kelley S. Ceccato, divided into two parts, both parts offered one week apart from each other. We’ve kicked off the holiday season by giving you the gift of not having to wait until next month for the concluding chapter in the story! Tune in each month for more free audio drama from ARTC!
In other news:
ARTC has been invited to Chattacon! More information in next month’s newsletter!
As always:
Remember that more information about us and audio drama in general can be found at www.artc.org. Please feel encouraged to forward this newsletter to any and all who may have an interest in New Old-Time Radio, audio drama, or just using your imagination. You can contact us through the website or by emailing info@artc.org. Archives of these newsletters as well as other information may be found at blog.artc.org.
